Just for Laughs

When Kyle and I saw this we were at a hotel; packed and ready to embark on an all expenses paid weekend away to Huaxi village in south China. We had been invited, along with any other foreigners the university could find, to experience this facinating part of untapped Chinese tourism on the basis that we would go out and elighten other foreign friends. Needless to say - after departing 2 hours later than expected, having to push start the bus, and being told that we'd arrive home a day later than expected - we jumped ship. But not before we checked out the hotel's menu....

• vocabulary headed rooster
• Yang chow fries the rice
• local village cooks the duck is drunk
• Buddhist preserves the foei grass
• Fragnant ear massage
• Potato stuffed with the crab and and digestive sauce of a lotus
• Dreaded veal cutlet with potatoes in cream

and to describe the atmosphere of the restaurant...emotional exchange good place for it...ooh yes that's exactly what I feel like - an emotional exchange!
